The Three Elms

A quintessential Dorset pub with none of the gourmet pretensions of many of the more recent additions in the locality, The Three Elms offers good portions of tasty food and, as a Free House, one of the best selections of drinks in the region. There's a nice little garden behind the pub with a good-sized climbing frame to keep the kids amused and the parents worried in equal proportion. Inside the pub while away the time waiting for your food order playing 'I spy' with the rather impressive of model cars and number plates. Friendly, tasty, genuine atmosphere.

"With the new owners they have certainly turned this place in to a fantastic drinking establishment. A good selection of local beers and hearty scrumptious food make this the ideal place to go."

"I used to go to this pub quite often a few years back, as it is close to Sherborne (where I live). I have a soft spot for it, but the quality seems to have gone down a bit recently, and the place could certainly do with a new lick of paint. But a solid choice, nonetheless."
